The Reach Gallery Museum has launched a Community Art Space program for artist and community groups to exhibit their work.
Groups interested in participating in the 2019 program are invited to apply.
Applications are available on The Reach’s website and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Successful applicants will exhibit works for two-month periods in the studio space. Through sponsorship from the Lohn Foundation, exhibiting groups will receive support for marketing, hosting an opening reception, and delivering a public program.
“Whether you are an art club or society, a school group, or a social services organization, if you have works of art you’d like to present, we’d like to hear from you,” said Anna Williams, education programmer at The Reach.
Laura Schneider, executive director of The Reach, said the project is “a natural outgrowth of a longstanding commitment to presenting community-based artworks at The Reach.”
“We’re excited to create a means for these kinds of projects to have a consistent presence in our exhibition program,” she said.
