The Wallflowers, Martina McBride and Chris Botti to perform at Mission Hill Winery

What do a best selling jazz instrumentalist, a country music superstar and the singer of one of the top pop songs have in common?

What do a best selling jazz instrumentalist, a country music superstar and the singer of one of the top pop songs of all time  have in common?

They’ll all be playing at Mission Hill Winery this year for their Summer Concert Series, which runs from July 24 to Aug. 15.

First to grace the winery with his music will be Chris Botti, who is set to play  July 24 at| 7:30 p.m.

The multi-Grammy-award-winning Chris Botti, critically acclaimed for his latest CD, Impressions, appears for the third time at Mission Hill on Friday, July 24th. The Italian-American trumpeter and composer from Portland, Oregon, is the world’s best-selling jazz instrumentalist selling more than 3 million albums worldwide. Botti has performed with such luminaries as Andrea Bocelli, Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Bette Midler, Joni Mitchell, Sting, Josh Groban and Michael Bublé.

Martina McBride is up next with a July 26 performance, scheduled for 7:30 p.m.  Her country soprano will float over the Amphitheatre and animate the night sky on Sunday, July 26th. The most-played female vocalist on country radio, McBride has produced 20 top 10 hits and six number one smashes, has been nominated for 14 Grammy Awards, has sold more than 18 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry – the ultimate honour for any country music performer. The Kansas-born pop-country crossover singer, songwriter and record producer brings her extraordinary talent to Mission Hill Family Estate for the first time on her Everlasting Tour.

Finally The Wallflowers will perform Aug.15 at 7:30 p.m. The L.A.-based, two-time Grammy-winning alternative rock band that has sold more than seven million records worldwide over 25 years, captivates the audience on Saturday, August 15th. The band’s classic song, ‘One Headlight’, is listed among Rolling Stone magazine’s 100 Greatest Pop Songs of all time. Its other hits include ‘6th Avenue Heartache’ and ‘The Difference’.
