Thousands turn out for Mission’s Folk Fest

Mission Folk Music Festival runs throughout the weekend concluding with a finale performance Sunday July 27th.



The 27th annual Mission Folk Music Festival will be showcasing the final acts of the weekend today July 27th at Fraser River Heritage Park. At one point the crowd was startled when Fijian dancers joined the crowd.

Saturday’s program included The Sweet Lowdown – an award-winning trio from Victoria, True Blues with Zakiya Hooker and Chris James, VOU – Fijian music and dance group, Quartetto Gelato and Wil Campa.

The main stage concert line-up for today Sunday includes; Procession/parade to MainStage at 6pm, followed by sounds from Lemon Bucket Orkestra, Good for Grapes, Ruth Moody, Dervish and the grand finale.
