Three Abbotsford actors in Langley theatre’s online production

Theatre in the Country presents Pride and Prejudice on July 24 and 25

Three Abbotsford actors have recently been participating in online shows with Theatre in the Country (TIC), a family-run dinner theatre in Langley.

The next project of TIC is a new theatrical adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel Pride and Prejudice on July 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Abbotsford residents in the production are Laura Kehler as Mrs. Bennett, Michael Holman as Mr. Collins, and Adriel Brandt as Mr. Wickham.

TIC has been running within a month of the company shutting its doors on March 16 due to COVID-19.

Using their bank of over 45 performers, they perform a new costumed, readers’ theatre each Friday and Saturday night.

The audience is asked to pay what they can starting at $5.

Each play includes a talk with the cast and crew, and occasional special guests each night after the show is over.

The audience offers their applause, congratulations or questions in the chat feature on Zoom.
