The Reach Gallery Museum is open again, and the public is invited to view the latest exhibitions.
The facility first closed its doors in mid-March in the midst of three exhibitions that were intended to be open until late spring, and began offering online content to allow people to interact with the exhibitions from home.
The site reopened on June 1, and those exhibitions will now remain open until late August.
The exhibitions include “a soul is not made of atoms,” a solo exhibition by Vancouver-based artist Trevor Van den Eijnden that features immersive sculptural and light installations.

Also featured is Glimmers of the Radiant Real, a touring group exhibition from Ontario making its only western Canada stop at The Reach, and Art on Demand 6.2, the latest installment in The Reach’s Emerge exhibition program, which mentors young and emerging artists and curators in the Fraser Valley.
Adrienne Fast, curator of arts and visual culture at The Reach, said in-person programming – classes, workshops, and camps – has been put on hold. But The Reach continues to regularly update its website with educational materials and interactive activities.
She said The Reach has implemented a number of changes that include hand sanitizing stations, physical-distancing measures, directional signage, and an increased cleaning schedule.
Summer hours of operation are Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. Visit thereach.ca for more information.
