Indigo Jazz is the featured guest on the first Friday of the month at the Zocalo Café.

Join Dale Graham (vocals), Rick Husband (guitar), and John Hyde (bass) for tasty music at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, and get your June off to a sweet start.

Treat your tastebuds with the Zo’s mouth-watering entrees, featuring locally-sourced meat and vegetarian dishes. The premises are fully licensed, and a sweet collection of tunes by Indigo Jazz nicely complement the sweet desserts on offer at the café.

Hyde is to jazz music what chocolate is to dessert. Have you ever met a dessert that didn’t taste better with chocolate?

John has a wealth of experience in performing, arranging, composing, and teaching jazz. In his hands, the acoustic bass finds the perfect mix of personality, precision, and support.

Husband is the peanut butter of guitarists. Smooth or crunchy, his playing is compelling and responsive. He communicates beautifully to listeners by integrating improvised lines with familiar motifs and genres.

Graham’s delicious vocals are happily sandwiched between these two fine players. She’s right at home in the open space of a ballad, can swing like crazy, and simply relaxes into her improvised lines.    Enjoy Indigo Jazz at the Zocalo Café this Friday at 7:30. Get your just desserts.
