Vic Vaga pays tribute to Rod Stewart during his upcoming show.

Vaga performs his Rod Stewart Tribute Show at the Harewood Royal Canadian Legion, branch 10, located at 129 Harewood Rd., on Saturday May 28 at 8 p.m.

The show is presented by TLC Entertainment.

Vaga, a.k.a. VagaBlonde,  became a tribute artist in 2010. He’s a relative newcomer to the scene, but has already performed across North America.

Since he was a child, people have been telling Vaga that he bore an uncanny resemblance to Stewart.

“I’ve heard more often than not that I was quite the doppelgänger of many a rock ’n’ roll performer,” said Vaga on his website, www.vmrentertainment.com.

After dressing up as Stewart for Halloween and winning numerous costume contests, he decided to start his tribute act.

Tickets are $22 or $20 for members in advance from the legion or $25 at the door.
