Triple Heat Academy of the Performing Arts directors Michelle Henly, Tamara Ryan Telford and Livea Gill Harding present the culmination of this year’s work by students at the Sid Williams Theatre, May 27-29.
‘Imagine’ showcases the Triple Heat curriculum from pointe ballet to hip hop and everything in between, as well as their musical theatre and stage division.
“We encourage our students to strive for excellence both technically and artistically,” says Henly, who heads the ballet program.
“We want them to imagine what is possible, what they can articulate through dance and performance,” adds Gill Harding. “That dedication to technique is how they bring that vision to life.”
The showcases will include performances by their nine provincial-level soloist representatives as well as award-winning pieces performed at NIFPA, Thunderstruck, Core Dance competition and Peak Invitational.
