The Whonnock Weavers and Spinners Guild are getting set to host their last free “spin-in” of the season at The ACT to celebrate fibre arts of all kinds.

Knitters, weavers, spinners and other fibre artists are welcome, as well as anyone interested in learning about fibre arts.

Bring your own supplies and join in the conversation. Those who are new the fibre arts are welcome to come out and ask questions.

Formed in 1974, the guild has a long tradition of encouraging a renewed interest in the age old crafts of weaving and spinning.

In addition to weaving and spinning, the guild welcomes felters, knitters, basket makers, dyers, and anyone interested in these arts.

• The spin-in takes place in the ACT lobby on Tuesday, March 11 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
