Get ready to Shake, Rattle and Roll, and take out your Blue Suede Shoes for an evening with the King of Rock n’ Roll in Maple Ridge next week.
Elvis – The Moments, featuring Pete Paquette, will take you through the musical career of one of the world’s most celebrated entertainers.
This authentic and energetic show will showcase some of the most memorable moments of Elvis Presley’s live performances, from his early years of rock’n roll in the 1950s to his explosive return to the stage in Las Vegas during the 1970s.
Paquette is highly regarded as being one of the top 50 professional Elvis impersonators in North America.
Adding to his credit, he was twice crowned Canadian grand champion at the Collingwood festival, one of the largest Elvis gatherings in the world – a title never earned twice by any Elvis tribute artist before.
It was in the summer of 2003 that Paquette entered his first contest at the Collingwood Elvis Festival.
It was there that he left his first impressions on those who would later become his biggest fans.
Since then, he has participated and won close to 20 major Elvis contests around North America, skyrocketing him to great success and recognition in the business.
A teacher in real life, Paquette’s musical knowledge and talent for stage performance owes a great deal to the fact that he holds a bachelor’s degree in music.
Paquette’s show is filled with energy, charisma, and passion.
His raw talent and years of experience as an Elvis entertainer makes his performance very professional and authentic on stage. His energy, whether it is coming from his swivelling hips or from his vocals, never fails to shake up the crowd and leaving them wanting more.
