Coffee house and 'A Celtic Christmas Ceilidh'

‘A Celtic Christmas Ceilidh’ in Burns Lake

The Bev Hughes Highland Dancers are putting on ‘A Celtic Christmas Ceilidh’ at the Rod and Gun Club Hall on Friday, Dec. 1. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the Highland Dancers perform at 7:15 p.m. and the Johnnie Rockers play from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and youth, and are available from Green Zone Grocer and Yarn and Sew On. There will be a silent auction, a wine and beer bar and free snacks. All proceeds will go to the Highland Dancers Scotland 2018 trip. Look for the posters around town, and think about starting out December with a Celtic Christmas celebration.

Coffee House at the Lakeside Multiplex

The next coffee house in the 2017/18 season takes place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1 at the Lakeside Multiplex. The event features local entertainers and a great selection of home-baked treats, plus coffee, tea and juice at intermission.

Admission is $5, and all proceeds go to the Burns Lake Citizens on Patrol Society. Think about supporting live, local entertainment.
