Abbotsford children’s author Diane Welch is releasing two new books of her Mr. Nobody series with a tour of the Okanagan.
Number two and three in the series, Mr. Nobody’s Shenanigans and Mr. Nobody’s Christmas Treasury, are set in the Little Yellow House on Maple Street, where four children have gotten into some shenanigans, as children do.
The stories are created around their adventures, with the help of Mr. Nobody.
The books, which feature hand-painted illustrations by Welch’s husband, Dave Welch, are based on the Welch’s four children Katie, Hope, Page and Austin.
*Update: Welch will now will be at the Coles book store in Vernon’s Village Green Centre for a brief meet and greet on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 11 a.m.
