Abbotsford funny man Sunee Dhaliwal is a fast rising star who will bring his comedy stylings to the Phoenix lounge this weekend.
Think of the funny guy in high school that both the jocks and the nerds liked, and Dhaliwal is who you get.
He has already landed opening spots for top Headliners like Charlie Murphy, Sugar Sammy and Jo Koy along with showcases for Just for Laughs and MTV.
Opening for Sunee are the very funny Sean Emeny and Wanda Roberts, the host and MC for the evening is Langley Fine Arts School graduate (class of ’95) Dick Thompson.
Dhaliwal is performing Friday, Aug. 23, at the Phoenix Lounge in Finnegan’s Pub & Grill, Abbotsford, 33780 King Rd. Abbotsford.
Tickets are $10 each and are available at Phoenix Cold Beer & Wine or at the Mount Lehman Liquor Store, 30495 Cardinal Ave.
Doors open at 7 p.m.; show time is at 8 p.m.
