Enjoy an afternoon of operatic arias, art songs and musicals in Parksville this Sunday as the Vancouver Island Opera holds its second recital series of the season.

The concert includes three young professionals from Vancouver Baritone Andrew Andreychik, Soprano Shadan Saul and Tenor Sunny Shams.

The recital on Sunday will include selections from Puccini’s La Boheme, as well as a variety of operatic music including La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi, and Russians arias.

Sweet treats will be served at intermission courtesy of Quality Foods and VIO member Lois Hayes.

The recital happens in Parksville at the MAC, located at 133 McMillan Street at 3 p.m. on April 27.  Tickets are $20 at the door.
