Progressive Rock heavyweights Bend Sinister are bringing their brand of super-catchy indie/rock — and a few of their friends — to The Venue in Langley on Saturday, April 9.
In 2009 Bend Sinister placed third in The Peak Performance Project. The band’s overpowering stage presence and musicality will grab you by the waist and throw you to the dance floor, they promise.
Thick drums, catchy choruses and a smooth blend of dance synths and guitars describe the up-and-coming Cruel Young Heart, an act based out of Langley.
Coming right out of 100.5 fm The Peak’s West Coast Pop concert series, and having just been featured in the LuvnGrace-Redworld Fashion Show, Cruel Young Heart’s live performance will take advantage of The Venue’s large size to bring another dimension into their explosive live show.
Rounding out the ticket is Kodiak Nightlife. This act has been able to create a thick, solid sound in a very short time. There is a lot of buzz surrounding this Metro Vancouver band, and to fully understand why, audiences need to experience them live.
This is an all ages show. Advance tickets are $10. Doors open at 8 p.m. The Venue (Langley Vineyard) is located at 5708 Glover Rd.
