The Vernon Public Art Gallery is inviting jewelry lovers to attend pARTy Gems, its second annual gallery shop jewelry party, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Everyone is welcome and artists will be in attendance with their latest work on display. Those attending can peruse the gift shop, meet the artists and view the latest trends by Okanagan artisans.
Guests will also enjoy music, mocktails and snacks.
“This is a great opportunity to purchase gifts in time for Mother’s Day,” said VPAG executive director Dauna Kennedy Grant. “Our first event was such a success we wanted to do it again. It’s our version of a home jewelry party, but at the gallery. Join us for this fun ladies night.”
Participating artists include Susan Richards of Studio 410, Maude Besson of Ecceterra Design, Melissa Nasby of Soul Fibre, and jade artist Deborah Wilson.
Tickets are $5 each, which goes toward any jewelry purchase, and are available at the VPAG in advance or at the door.
