It’s time to hit a high note with some much-beloved folk songs.
The Vernon Community Singers present the Okanagan Folkfest Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. at Trinity United Church on Alexis Park Drive.
“The program is filled with wonderful folk songs, old and new, with guest appearances, audience sing-along and a variety of instruments,” said Molly Boyd, with the community singers.
“As usual, the choir is full of high spirits and fun.”
Tickets for the concert are $10 (children are free) and they are available at the door.
