Gallery Vertigo is accepting submissions for its new October mini exhibition entitled, Day of the Dead.
“We are accepting community contributions to this celebration of the loss of a loved one. This could be a parent, child, friend or pet,” said Trista Bassett, Vertigo’s new executive director.
Submissions should be made three-dimensionally in a small cardboard box (with the opening facing out not up.) For visual examples, email Bassett at tristabassett@gmail.com.
The exhibition will run in conjunction with John Lawrence’s Restorations, Resurrections and Remembrances exhibition, continued on from September.
Gallery Vertigo is open Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Submissions will be accepted from Oct. 7 to 11 at #1-3001 31st St., Vernon.
