A contemporary dance duo will be putting on a one-night performance on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the MAC featuring some brand-new dance material.
The pair, Sarah Adam and Matt Bovee, have been doing a two-week workshop at the Qualicum Beach School of Dance where they developed some of this new material.
Called Sequence: Any Which Way, the free performance at the McMillan Arts Centre, at 133 McMillan St. in Parksville at 7 p.m., will be a melding of contemporary dance with an “oft-comedic, theatrical twist,” according to information shared by the dancing duo.
“The performance is a short, one-night-only presentation of our newest works-in-progress,” they said.
Adam is based in Alberta, and Bovee is based in New York City.
