The Lakes District Festival Association (LDFA) is currently seeking volunteers to help with next year’s Performing Arts Festival.
Volunteers are needed for the positions of publicity chair, secretary, travel and accommodations chair, and vocals coordinator.
“We are aware of many people in our community who have a passion for the performing arts and for the festival itself,” said Lois Koop, LDFA member. “If you are one of these people, please consider offering your service and expertise in one of these positions.”
The first LDFA meeting for the 2016-2017 season was held on Sept. 26, 2016 in anticipation of the Performing Arts Festival, which will take place in March 2017.
Koop said there will likely be three more meetings before the festival begins.
