Months of rehearsal will culminate in a pair of epic concerts at the Capitol Theatre this weekend as Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana arrives in Nelson, directed by Allison Girvan.
Featuring pianist Susanne Ruberg-Gordon and singers Ron Little, Geoff Burns and Marty Horswill (below left to right), as well as pianist Roger Admiral (above) the choir ultimately consists of 43 singers and three percussionists: John Galm, Bruce Hunter and Steven Parish.
Soloists are Gabriel Macdonald, Noémi Kiss and Bessie Wapp, and the first half will feature youth choirs Lalin and Solstice, as well as pianist Christoph Martens.
The show will be tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
