Al Gore's follow up to An Inconvenient Truth and the latest Joe Pickett thriller.

An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power by Al Gore, 2017

Available through BC Interlibrary Connect

Written in a magazine-style format, Gore presents a reasoned and balanced appraisal of our global situation. This is an easy to read handbook about global warming, with lots of graphics, sidebars, and photographs. The explanations are clear, the evidence is alarming, but many hopeful examples of positive change are also given. The final section gives concrete advice about what individuals can do to help.

Vicious Circle by C.J. Box, 2017

Available at RPL

If you are not already a C.J. Box fan and like the detective/ thriller genre, I strongly recommend this series that follows the misadventures of a Wyoming game warden. In this latest Joe Pickett novel, a nightmare returns to seek revenge against our hero, putting him and his family in danger. Treachery and deception in the Teton Range; a great read.
