WATERCOLOUR SOCIETY
The Fraser Valley Watercolour Society is hosting its next meeting on Thursday, April 14 from 7-9 p.m., at Abbotsford Senior Secondary School, room N102. The evening will feature local artist Cheryl Shaw, who will do a demonstration on white ink on artagin coloured papers. After the demo there will be an opportunity to paint using this technique. COFFEE HOUSE CONCERT
The Mission Coffee House Concert Series presents the eclectic musical group Roca, on Saturday, April 16 at the Mission Community Activity Centre (formerly the Playstation), located on 10th and Taulbut. Tickets are $5 at the door. There is an open stage at 7 p.m. (email steppingstonemusic@shaw.ca to participate) with the main act starting at 8 p.m. The Mission Coffee House Concert Series is a volunteer-run program meant to promote local talent.
