There truly was something for everyone on Thursday night at the Performing Arts Gala event, which was held at Grand Forks Secondary.
The event was hosted by the Boundary District Arts Council and was part of B.C. Arts and Culture Week, which actually goes from April 20-28.
Performers including belly dancers the Hip Sisters, who were also joined on stage by some junior dancers; teen belly dancers under the direction of Michele Dean; Boundary Music Educators Association performances on piano, vocal and violin; Nathan’s fabulous magic; poetry; more belly dancing, this time from Rara Avis; ballet; Grand Forks Pipe and Drums; and Luminosity dance.
