Women’s choir offers six-week cappella experience

Take part in a six-week Cappella group.

Introduce your voice to the unique four-part harmony group.

Female singers are invited to a six-week Cappella experience hosted by Langford’s Pacific Edge Chorus, beginning Oct. 15, at 6:45 p.m.

Singers first receive a quick vocal placement to determine which of the four parts is best suited then be given sheet music for two or three songs.

Under the direction of Julie Smith, this is one of many competing choruses in the Western Canadian Region of Sweet Adelines International. The Chorus has provincial and federal charitable status and participates in ‘pay it forward’ through volunteer and paid performances.

Practices are at Gordon United Church Hall, 935 Goldstream Ave. Register for more information by emailing cogbass@gmail.com.
