Langley audiences can get an up-close look at the works of renowned Japanese artist Hokusai, and all without leaving their seats.
On June 25 and 28, British Museum Presents: Hokusai is screening in movie theatres across Canada, including in Langley. The shows are part of Cineplex Events’ In The Gallery series.
Hokusai is widely regarded as Japan’s most famous and influential artist. The exhibition will lead audiences on an artistic journey though the last 30 years of his life, and will include prints, paintings and illustrated books.
The film offers Canadians a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see these extraordinary works together in their local theatre.
