A young Vernon resident is being remembered today in a dance recital at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre.
Carole’s Dance Academy is holding its second annual dance recital at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre in honor of Vernon Secondary Secondary student, Darin Cunliffe, who died a year ago.
Three dances have been specially choreographed in honour of Cunliffe, and will feature students from the dance studio, including Cunliffe’s sister Ciara and many of his friends.
Other dances will feature jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, musical theatre and hip hop.
The performance takes place today at 7 p.m. and tickets are available at the Ticket Seller box office at the centre one hour before the performance, as well as online at www.ticketseller.ca.
