Comox Valley Arts presents a Youth Music Showcase at the last Downtown Summer Night Market of the year on Friday, Sept. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m.
You’ll hear many incredibly talented young musicians aged 10 to 20 at 5th Street and England. There will be soloists like 16 year-old Aioffe Carberry with her soulful clear vocals, the rockin’ 13-year-old Ryks Davies and beautiful duos such as the sweet sounds of 12 year-olds Owen Caissie with Grace Joneson.
Several ensembles will be hitting the stage including local favourites Stella Swanson and the Rosie Joyfuls, the Caissies, H2O, and Battle of the Bands winners, Detour. The witty and gracious Hayden Ledingham will be hosting.
There’s no cost, so come on down and show your support for these hard-working, fun-loving, awesome sounding kids.
