Federal New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh will be in Penticton at noon Friday at 275 Brunswick St. to do some “mainstreeting” with candidate MP Richard Cannings and volunteers.
This will be Singh’s second visit to Penticton in the last two weeks, he was last here Aug. 29 when he did a bike tour with Cannings and made a stop at a downtown coffee shop, Wayne and Freda, to talk with the public. He also took in an exhibition Penticton Vees junior hockey game at the South Okanagan Events Centre and took part in the Shindig in the Garden at Linden Gardens in Kaleden hosted by Cannings.

The NDP leader was in Kootenay-Columbia and Victoria Thursday.
Singh will be heading to the Lower Mainland Saturday with scheduled stops in Burnaby and Vancouver before going to Terrace Sunday.
