Rick Francoeur, owner of 360 Fabrication Inc. in Abbotsford, can’t wait for September to start.
His Abbotsford-based company has been invited to attend the fourth annual Luxury and Supercar Weekend which rolls into Vancouver on Sept. 7 and 8, at VanDusen Botanical gardens.
The event brings together displays of high-end automotives, food, wine, cocktails and fall fashion. This year the event will also feature luxury boats and helicopters.
“It’s definitely a fairly prestigious event,” said Francoeur. “We’re taking three cars to the show.”
The vehicles are a 1964 Lincoln Continental, a 1967 Mustang Fastback and a F430 Ferrari. The vehicles will help showcase the different services offered by the local company.
He said organizers actually opened up a new class, modified cars, so 360 Fabrication could attend and showcase everything from its body modifications, sound systems, paint work and other services.
The local company’s reputation continues to grow.
“We are a worldwide company. We had a guy call us from Shanghai and two weeks later his car showed up.”
But Francoeur said they still work on local vehicles, everything from $200 to $1 million jobs.
