A lesson in why your bladder matters

Everything you wanted to know about your bladder but where afraid to ask is focus of workshop organized by MS Society.

Bladder Matters is a free education session about the bladder being put on by the Okanagan chapter of the MS Society.

The session will be held May 13, 1 to 3:30 p.m., at the Trinity Baptist Church, 1905 Springfield Rd.

The topics covered will include  the neurogenic bladder in the MS and spinal cord injured population, features, advantages and benefits of intermittent catheters and leg bags, and  the effect of prescription drugs on your bladder.

Presenters and the panel include Judy Kazman, Coloplast territory manager, Scott Heron, a peer support specialist with Spinal Cord Injury  BC, Cheryl Daniels, RN with the MS Clinic, Pam Mayor, RN, enterostomal therapist with Lakeside Medicine Centre, and Chris Waller, pharmacist with Lakeside Medicine Centre.
