There’s a new wave of wellness opportunities flowing through Vernon and its source is located at Tidal Elements Healing Arts Studio.
Tidal Elements opened its doors in October 2014, with founder Katherine Reiber, RMT, providing the vision and guidance for its continued growth.
Reiber is a craniosacral practitioner and also teaches at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon. Her vision to open a space in the heart of Vernon that connects all aspects of health and healing has grown leaps and bounds over the past few months.
To recognize the first six months of operations, Tidal Elements is hosting an Equinox event on Saturday. This celebration of healing invites the community to join us not only in honoring the arrival of spring, but also to meet the people who have come together to bring their unique offerings in a supportive space. Some of the many offerings available at the Equinox event will be: Breath Workshop, Yoga Nidra, Yin to Yang Class, Contact Dance Workshop, potluck eats and treats, and live music. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Monashee Arts Council in Lumby, a non-profit society.
The studio space also serves as an art gallery featuring local artists. This season’s exhibit opening the Equinox event is created by Vernon artist Jason Lewis, with SC Designwerx.
Tidal Elements Healing Arts has practitioners providing a wide range of therapies and services including: massage therapy, pre/post natal massage, craniosacral sessions, reflexology, reiki, medical intuitive consultations and aromatherapy facials.
A great community of instructors and class facilitators also make use of the studio space to offer weekly classes in yoga, Feldenkrais, meditation and JusDance.
The spacious studio accommodates a wide variety of workshops as well. If your organization is looking for a centrally located, serene space to get together, you can contact Reiber to enquire about availability.
