A thank you for volunteers

Surrey-Cloverdale MLA Stephanie Cadieux honours residents who donate their time to the community.

Surrey-Cloverdale MLA Stephanie Cadieux honoured volunteers in her community on April 18.

“We all owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to people who dedicate their time to help others,” Cadieux said. “Volunteer Week is a time to recognize our dedicated volunteers and to encourage others to give their time to causes as well. Volunteers build community, and strengthen our connections to each other.”

Saturday’s event was held during the 12th annual National Volunteer Week. Across Canada, an estimated 13.3 million people regularly volunteer their time.
