You know it as the Fraser Valley’s best little country fair.
The Abbotsford Agrifair and Mighty Fraser Rodeo is returning to Abbotsford Exhibition Park grounds from July 28 to Aug. 1.
The event features the largest gathering of 4-H’ers and their animals in the Fraser Valley. Watch many of the top cowboys and cowgirls from across North America compete in events like bull riding, barrel racing and bareback riding. The main stage will be filled with local and regional entertainment, from tribute shows to the third annual Valley Voices singing competition. Magic acts will be performed throughout the grounds all weekend. And highlighting this year’s entertainment is the Milord Swing-Up Trampoline-Wall Show. This year will also feature the return of the popular Lord Strathcona Mounted Troop, originators of the Musical Ride.
Of course, the fair also includes the free KidZone, ICW wrestling, the Country Horse Classic, the Trial Stars Bike demo team, Chef Dez, an expansive food court and the West Coast Amusements midway. Agrifair opens on Thursday at 5 p.m. On Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, gates open at 10 a.m. Admission ranges from $5-$10.
