• On Saturday, May 31, bring your family and friends to Alex House for the 40th annual Alexandra Festival.

It’s a great day of non-stop entertainment on an outdoor stage, family fun and an opportunity to do your Christmas shopping really, really early.

Artists and crafters will be selling a variety of one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted and imported items. And when your shopping’s done, rest your feet by the stage and enjoy the performances or just sit on the grass and watch the world go by. There’s something for everyone.

Call 604-535-0015 for more information or visit www.alexhouse.net

•Alexandra Festival is an important community event … and we can’t do it without help.

Volunteer opportunities include helping vendors, groups and entertainers load and unload; directing traffic and parking; helping out with food; providing information; groundskeeping and helping with children’s activities.

Volunteering is a great way to meet neighbours, have fun, and serve your community.
