With sun every day, our summer camps got the best of the best. Campers will move into the coming year with smiles, confidence and a good tan.
Our Alexandra Children’s Centre programs remained very busy over the summer as we greeted new families, said goodbye to others and prepared for an even busier fall season. We provide Reggio-inspired care for infants and toddlers and pre-schoolers, as well as after-school care.

Hop on the bus Sunday, Sept. 8, for an all-day tour of community gardens in the Lower Mainland, hosted by our own master gardener, Collene Ford.
Learn about different community gardening models and methods beginning at 9 a.m. at our own Alexandra Community Garden on Sullivan Street.
Cost is $20/person, and the tour runs to 5 p.m.

On Sept. 11, we welcome the return of our monthly community lunches, each with a different multicultural theme.

Dig out your dancing shoes Sept. 14 at 7 p.m for an evening of great music and good company at our upcoming fundraiser at the Crescent Beach Legion.
Payton Rector, with a voice that will knock your socks off, opens this amazing evening, followed by “Really Rod,” the ultimate Rod Stewart impersonator, raspy voice and all. Enjoy awesome music and help us to raise funds at the same time.

Breaking Free is a support group for women who wish to deal with personal difficulties without dieting.
Learn to nourish yourself in ways that don’t involve food, among people of like mind and heart.

The Parent-Child Mother Goose program is a group experience for parents and their young children that focuses on the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs and stories together.
