A celebration to mark two anniversaries is to take place Sunday at White Rock’s Eve Bene Butterfly Garden in Centennial Park, 14600 North Bluff Rd.
Butterflies & Birds in the Garden celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Friends of Semiahmoo Bay Society and the 20th anniversary of Surrey’s Wild Birds Unlimited.
From noon to 4 p.m. April 17, the public is invited to try butterfly and bird crafts, build a nest box or suet feeder, learn how butterflies and birds pollinate and help remove invasive plants.
