Artists sought for Sunday Painter’s Exhibition

The Old School House arts centre to present eligible artwork

If you are a recreational artist or art student your are invited to submit your best painting for inclusion in a juried exhibition at The Old School House (TOSH) in Qualicum Beach.

The Sunday Painter’s Exhibition is for up and coming artists and a jury will award ribbon prizes for three mediums; watercolor, oil/acrylic and pastel.  There is a separate category for high school students.

There is a $5 fee to enter except for high school students.

Eligible artwork must be delivered to TOSH between 10 a.m. and noon Saturday March 31 and will hang in the galleries until Saturday April 7.  The jury is comprised of three professional artists and educators; Janice Bridgman, Sherry Mitchell and Martin Hill.

An opening reception is being held Wednesday, April 4 at 7 p.m.
