At this busy time of the year many of us are looking for great gift ideas.
The Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary is busy with many opportunities to help us with our gift giving.
The Superfluity shop has lots of great deals for the whole family.
There is always a sale each week.
On the main floor they have clothing and housewares along with books and some small furniture. On the second floor is the boutique that has lots of festive clothing for your special holiday event.
There are gifts for all the people on your list.
At the main entrance of the Hospital is our gift shop. It is now stocked with all types of decorations for the holidays. There are all kinds of gifts from stuffed animals for the young people, magazines for your favorite reader and decorations for the home. The shop has lots of interesting hostess gifts for the happy shopper.
The gift shop always has a selection of handmade baby clothes for the newest member of the family.
These baby clothes are always welcomed by a new family.
Our Flower Power group has a selection of Christmas flower and table arrangements for sale.
These are kept refrigerated and are made by volunteers at the hospital.
Our volunteer groups are also busy with many sales at this time of the year.
On Saturday, Nov. 23, our Semiahmoo group will be having a table of baked goods and at the Christmas Craft Fair at Crescent Gardens.
On Nov. 29, they will also have a sale in the lobby of the hospital where they are selling “Grinch” trees, crafts and white elephant items.
On Nov. 30, two of our groups will be having tables at the Star of the Sea ‘Christmas on the Peninsula.’
The Aquarius group with will be selling Christmas items and will also have a raffle for a Gingerbread house.
The Les Papillons group will have a bake sale at this event, as well as craft items.
On Dec. 3, the Aquarius group will also be having lobby sale. Again they will have a large selection of items for sale.
Dec. 5, the Ruth Bruels/Coldicutt group will be selling framed art as well as picture frames and china plates in the lobby.
On Dec. 6, Les Papillons will have a lobby sale.
They will also be selling crafts and jewelry.
All the proceeds from all of these sales directly benefit the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary. The auxiliary supports patient care through medical programs and the purchase of hospital equipment.
We are always looking for volunteers.
