Enjoy a guided excursion to the Ryoshi-Nikkei Fishermen of the B.C. Coast exhibit on April 3.

From the bustling docks of Steveston to remote inlets on the Northern Coast, Japanese Canadians have made a unique contribution to fishing in B.C. both before and after the war.

Their story is intertwined with the labour and political history of B.C.

With pride and perseverance, the Nikkei community proved their skill as fishermen and cannery workers, and built a new life as Canadian citizens.

Exhibit to be followed by a delicious Japanese lunch. Call 604-541-2231 to register.
