The Okanagan’s eighth annual Carpool takes place Oct. 6 to 31, with the intend to encourage commuters to give carpooling a try.
Okanagan residents could win one of four $100 fuel cards, by visiting carpool.ca and participating in various activities such as signing up for the first time, searching for new carpool partners, submitting carpool stories and more. Central Okanagan participants have additional chances to win, with free transit passes and tickets up for grabs.
The program is available to commuters throughout the Okanagan and there are currently 1,049 registrants throughout the valley. For more information about how to find a carpooling match, check out carpool.ca.
