Celebrate July 1 at Davison Orchards

From a pancake breakfast to a cherry pit-spitting contest, the Vernon farm has plenty of fun activities for the whole family

Canada Day is a great day to spend time with family, and Davison Orchards has activities for all ages.

“There are a variety of activities in Vernon on Canada Day,” said Del Armstrong, market manager, “so we are hosting a pancake breakfast for families to start the day, celebrating outside with great food.”

Breakfast features apple pancakes and apple cider syrup along with sausages and apple juice.

“The farm is a great place to have breakfast on a nice day, we have the sun and warmth first thing in the morning.”

Davison Orchards staff are dressing up as well as giving a 50 per cent off coupon to the first 50 families who dress up in red and white to celebrate Canada Day. For a complete list of activities, see www.davisonorchards.ca
