The Heaton Place Charity Challenge ends this week and Armstrong community members are invited to come out to the open house Saturday and Sunday for the final vote count.
The challenge invited the community to vote on how local seniors charities should receive a share in $1,000 donated by Heaton Place and $400 donated by JDL Construction.
“Everyone is eager to see the final count. We have been seeing votes come in for the past six weeks and with the new donation from JDL, it will be especially exciting to see the money get out into the community and start benefiting seniors,” said Alex Miller, Heaton Place representative.
The open house takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at Heaton Place Presentation Centre in Armstrong.
