Cory Paisley has been selected from thousands of auditions across Canada to appear this fall on season 10 of Dragons’ Den.
He will pitch the opportunity to invest in his business, Garage Door Doctor Canada, to a panel of venture capitalists.
"Like many other Vancouver Island based businesses, it can be a challenge to obtain the expertise and capital necessary to take a successful local enterprise to other Canadian markets," said Paisley, "so this is a good step in the right direction."
Paisley drove to the audition in Toronto from his home in Ladysmith with his son Caleb last month.
The business currently operates on Vancouver Island, but Paisley would like to expand country-wide.
