The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford has become the centre of cultural and creative innovation in the Fraser Valley.
More than 44,000 people have passed through its doors since opening in September 2008, either to take part in one of the many programs, or to view the ever changing exhibitions.
This summer, The Reach will be featuring four exhibitions.
The Tree: From the Sublime to the Social will include works by Emily Carr, Jack Shadbolt, Ian Wallace and Rodney Graham.
The Fraser Valley 2011 Biennale will celebrate local and regional art-making, and highlight the creativity in the Fraser Valley.
Our Communities Our Stories: You Look Marvelous! will feature women’s garments and accessories from The Reach’s permanent collection.
The grotto will showcase Field 130W by Janet Bright.
These exhibitions will be on display from June 16 to October 8.
A contemporary Punjabi artists exhibition to celebrate the centenary of the Heritage Gurdwara in Abbotsford will open on October 27.
Throughout the year, the Reach also offers a variety of public programming for children, youth, adults and families, along with monthly performance nights called Live @ The Reach.
