A recent gift from the Delta-based United Association of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry Local 170 will help students in need at Douglas College. The Association has donated $1,000 in support of the Emerging and Emergency Needs Bursary.
This is their second gift this year for students in urgent need at the college, said Diana Christie, manager of financial aid and awards.
