Hundreds of families converged on Transfer Beach in Ladysmith and at Fuller Lake in Chemainus for the annual Easter Egg Hunts. Put on by the Ladysmith Lions Club and the Chemainus-Crofton Eagles, the annual event sees about 200 lbs of chocolate eggs hidden for the finding – well, not so much hidden as sprinkled around by the generous volunteer bunnies from the local service clubs.
