Come out to the annual Father’s Day Kite Fly, Sunday, June 15 at Goose Spit Park from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Every year, families flock to the park to participate in this popular community event. Dads, moms, kids young and old can enjoy the kaleidoscope of colours as kites of all shapes and sizes soar through the skies. Registration is free for everyone. Ribbons and prizes are awarded in such categories as peoples’ choice, stunt kites, oldest pilot, largest kite, hard-luck flyer and more.

A free shuttle bus will run every 15 minutes 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Brooklyn Elementary School (Guthrie Road).
