Nanaimo Museum exhibit opens Friday (Feb. 3).
Jordan Johns, Nanaimo Museum curatorial assistant, hangs images of birds by local photographer Ralph Hocken in front of a great blue heron display while setting up the exhibit Our Feathered Friends, on loan from the Canadian Museum of Nature. The exhibit also features material from Vancouver Island University and Morrell Nature Sanctuary. It opens Friday (Feb. 3) and runs to May 21.
