Chase away the winter blues with some delicious food and community fun at the winter edition of the Mission City Farmers Market on Saturday, Feb. 6 in the lobby at Heritage Park Middle School, 33700 Prentis Ave.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors can purchase fresh kale, salad greens and leeks from Mission’s own Emma’s Acres farm.
Visit other regular vendors for organic mushrooms, honey, eggs, preserves, baking, chocolates, natural skin care products and crafts. Meet new vendors selling furniture and handmade lamps. Enjoy a piece of fresh bannock or buy some homemade butter chicken sauce.
Bring the whole family for craft-making and face-painting. For more information, visit facebook.com/MissionCity FarmersMarket/.
